高校 1年 (6時クラス) 

小テスト : 仮定法復習 15問、短文解釈 3問。解釈では would / used to 型、知覚動詞、seem 型、etc. を含む英文和訳。

仮定法授業 : 最終の if S should ~ / if S were to 原形 の仮定法の大詰め。

次回から動名詞構文へと進出。こちらは慣用表現からゴリゴリと脳みそに叩き込み、次に人称と時制を絡ませての勉強、次は動名詞と不定詞で意味内容が異なる表現方法の勉強となる。ここでも体力勝負である。お互いに頑張らなければ、だ。

高校 3年 (8時クラス) 

小テスト : 

暗記英作 10問、過去問英作 3問、四択、短文解釈 2問。短文とは言っているが、チト例を挙げておこう。In the age of abundance, the apparent availability of virtually all material necessities tended to lead people to expect speedy gratification of their desires and to have little sense of the length of time over which people in other times and places had had to wait in order to have some of their more basic material needs satisfied. (阪大) 他の一つも同程度の難易度の解釈。文の分析力と適切な訳語の選択が必須である英文。

長文読解 : 

お茶の水女子大学の過去問。設問には適切な箇所の選択がなされている。あと一歩で完全答案となるのだが、合格答案は書かれている。

その他 : 

正誤、整序、空所補充、会話問題をゴリゴリと順調に進行。
