単語テスト : 鉄壁 1121~1160 + α単語。α単語は精訳問題より。より精度を上げていかねばならない。例えば material prosperity これを「身体的」としてはおジャンとなる。「物質的繁栄」ですよ、ね。とか、単語レベルばかりか、その適切な訳語を作るってことですよ。

小テスト : 暗記英作 10問、英作 2問、下線部精訳問題 1問。ここでも intellectual property「知的財産」とか Ignorance is bliss.「知らぬが仏」とかの訳語と訳文ですよ。

精訳問題 : [115] での who among us hasn’t experience tundoku, …、部分は修辞疑問文であること、[116] は不定詞は結果用法と考える余裕が欲しいところ、[117] では Prehistoric man may well have had as much brain power as has the man of today. Yet modern man probably makes more material progress in a year’s time than his primitive ancestors made in thousands of years. の第一文はmay well個所とas~as であり、後ろの as 以下は倒置文であること。第二文は than の品詞は関係代名詞ですね。He has more books than he can read. から考えることですよ。コツコツと断片を集め、それを体系へと組み込んでいく、この勉強ですね。OK頑張っていきましょう。
