精訳問題 5問。特に [048] の There are many reasons for wanting to be honest. For some people it is a matter of trying to keep life simple; it is difficult for a habitual liar to remember what he or she said to whom. For others it is the anxiety or the threat of being found out which creates a keen desire to be honest in order to escape the consequences. それぞれの it の用法をガッツリと、である。

小テスト : [1] は付加疑問文に関するもの。特に There is ~. 型に関するもの。命令文、Let’s 型はOKではあるが、だ。[2] は知覚動詞を含む場合の受動態表現の練習と文型問題。解説。

教科書 : ELEMENT １課の和訳。丁寧に辞書を使っての和訳作成である。make oneself understood / make oneself heard の訳、Respecting the culture of the people you are talking to is also important. の文構造とか、だ。丁寧に、真っ直ぐに和訳していく勉強作業が続く。頑張っていくよ。
