小テスト: 暗記英作 10問、四択＋α 15問、短文解釈 3問。

四択問題では選択語も大切なんだが、その訳文がキッパリと出来ていなければ、ダ。例えば They invented printing as early as the fifteen century. での as early as ~ (早くも15世紀に)、He didn’t so much as say w word of thanks … . での not so much as do ~さえしない etc. また短文解釈での語群では conflicting interests での interests の訳語、The falseness of it might be held to be proved by ~ での held (hold) の訳語、etc. なんですね。

精訳問題 3題では in rapid succession での succession (単語テストでは succeed to one’s family business）、… words that would arguably make welcome addition to English での make welcome addition to ~ の訳語、etc. 

覚えるべき語、文構造での注意点がドバっと常に与えられる。一つひとつを飲み込んでいく勉強作業が続いているってことですよ。必要なのは忍耐です。ここ。
